Privacy Policy — Expenses Logger

Expenses Logger (“the App”), developed by VecTech (“we”, “us”), respects your privacy. This policy explains how the App handles your information.

Expenses Logger is a fully offline app. We do not collect, transmit, sell, or share any of your personal data. All your information stays on your device.

Information We Process

The App processes the following data entirely on your device:

Expense records you enter (amount, description, category, date).
Receipt photos you capture or select, and the text extracted from them.
Budgets you configure.

This data is stored locally in an on-device database and in your app’s private storage. It is never uploaded to any server and is not accessible to us or any third party.

Permissions We Request

Camera	To photograph receipts for scanning.
Photos / Media	To let you select existing receipt images from your gallery.
Notifications	To alert you when you approach or exceed a budget you set.

You can revoke any of these permissions in your device settings at any time. Receipt text recognition (OCR) is performed on-device using Google ML Kit and does not send your images anywhere.

Data Sharing

We do not share your data with anyone. The App contains no advertising SDKs, no analytics, and no third-party trackers.

Data Retention & Deletion

Because all data is stored only on your device, you are in full control. To delete all data, you can clear the app’s storage or uninstall the App. Uninstalling permanently removes all expense records and receipt photos held by the App.

Children’s Privacy

The App is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect any data from anyone.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by the “Last updated” date above.
